Meet Zachary. Yesterday, Zachary stabbed a police officer in the face. Not just any officer, the chief of police. Yes, stabbed him in the face attempting to avoid being arrested. Today he is in jail, he is not a hashtag. Today he is in the custody of the sherriff, not the coroner. Today he will rest soundly in a 6×6 cell, not a casket. Today his family is disappointed but not in mourning. What would have happen if Zachary looked like me? To my followers who keep saying they are tired of hearing about bias, bigotry and racism in policing….I ask you to think about those who are forced to endure it. #TheHyprocisyOfPolicing
