who did it

Many unlearned individuals teach that the J sound is a new invention created by Europeans. This is false. The J sound has been around for THOUSANDS of years. Many ancient African languages such as the Zulu dialects, the Xhosa, Ethiopian dialects have used the “J” sound for thousands of years as well. The earliest example of the J sound dates back 9,000 years in ancient Kemet with words such as Seba-Djai, D’jhai, Djed and other words. If you look at ancient Arabic which is younger than African languages, Arabic itself predates European nations by thousands of years, and so does the Arabic language and you will find that Arabic words such as Jabbar, Jabir, Jarra, Jinn, Julab, Jaleel, Jafar, Jumah and many others predate the European languages. So when ever someone says something was invented in Europe take 10 minutes to study your OWN culture. You will find that the only reason Europeans have it is because WE taught it to them.-bjid
