the TWA

“The TWA are a people who have NEVER PRACTICED SLAVERY. They CONTINUE to practice the HIGHEST LEVEL OF KINDNESS AND RESPECT for the YOUNG, the OLD AND WOMEN. They are the INNOVATORS of the MOST CENTRAL CULTURAL PRACTICES OF AFRICA and the world.”

“The Twa, also known as BA TWA, TANGU, or ANU people are God’s gift to the world, and they are the ANCESTORS OF ALL HUMANITY. As such, their civilization is the world’s first civilization. Twa civilization leaves its imprint on all peoples, especially African people. Even more important, the Twa are the world’s most civilized, just people. Twa civilization, like all ancient African civilizations, and the ancient Asian and the Native American civilizations is a SPIRIT-BASED CIVILIZATION. Just as SPIRIT IS THE CENTRAL PRINCIPLE OF AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURE, so the authors of the Great Spirit culture, the Twa are the spirit people of the planet, or as the ANCIENT KEMITES SAID, the Twa are ‘THE PEOPLE OF THE GODS.’ The world’s FIRST PEOPLE ARE CLOSEST OF ALL HUMANITY TO CREATION and they possess a GODLY or SPIRIT-BASED MENTALITY.”

“In the languages of Africa, Theophile Obenga informs us, THERE IS NO WORD FOR ‘RELIGION’. In EVERY AFRICAN LANGUAGE THERE IS A WORD FOR SPIRIT. The Twa are the authors of the world’s FIRST SPIRIT SYSTEM that the world TODAY CALLS ‘religion.’ IT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD that the Twa HAVE NO CHURCHES, NO PRIESTHOOD, and NO SUNDAY WORSHIP. NOR do they try to PROSELYTE OR CONVERT OTHERS to their beliefs. They FOLLOW a spirit path, NOT A SET OF INTELLECTUAL DOGMAS. Father Wilhelm Schmidt in his twelve-volume work called THE ORIGIN OF THE IDEA OF GOD, said that the Twa or pygmies are ‘the ANCESTORS of the taller human races, and the founding fathers (and mothers) of monotheistic religion.’ God for the Twa is one, and God is spirit. The Twa’s conceptions of God served as the VERY FOUNDATION of African, Asian, and Native American civilizations. In viewing God as spirit, the Twa provide a view of God that is PERFECTLY COMPATIBLE WITH MODERN PHYSICS, AND SCIENCE IN GENERAL. As such, the Twa God concept provided the perfect FOUNDATION for enduring civilizations with both a HIGHLY ETHICAL BASE, and a SOLID SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATION.”

“So the Twa, or dwarfs, through their understanding of God’s Vital Force or ILANI are the initiators into the higher mysteries of HEALING practiced by the African, Asian, and Native American priesthood. Jean-Pierre Hallet, author of PYGMY KITABU observed that ‘the Bambuti (Twa) know plants that CURE ALMOST ALL MALADIES, and use them effectively. In Ghana the GREATEST HERBALISTS are the ones who COMMUNICATE with plants, learning from them their healing properties. George Washington Carver, the GREAT African-American chemist, said that he went into the forest early in the morning and COMMUNICATED WITH THE PLANTS. Carver’s CHARACTER was very much like the Twa: he was a good person who WASN’T INTERESTED in material things. Jean-Pierre Hallet also said that ‘a little Efe elder named MUTUKE administered surgical treatment and drugs that cured me of an otherwise fatal wound and fever.’ The Masai people of East Africa say that a Twa named MEIYA TRAINED THEIR PRIESTS in medicine. Dr. Theophile Obenga says that in his homeland, Congo Brazzaville, the Twa are KNOWN AS THE GREATEST HEALERS.”

“IT SHOULD BE CLEAR that the TWA ARE THE REASON THAT AFRICAN PEOPLE ARE RELIGIOUS OR SPIRITUAL TO OUR BONE MARROW. On ONE LEVEL, world religions PORTRAY GOD AS GOOD, but MANY EXAMPLES of God’s behavior in world religions ILLUSTRATE NEGATIVE QUALITIES such as jealousy and vengeance. ON THE LOWER DEGREES OF KNOWLEDGE AFRICAN SPIRIT SYSTEMS ALSO DESCRIBE GOD AS HAVING HUMAN QUALITIES THAT ARE BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE, although MORE POSITIVE THAN NEGATIVE. To the TWA, God is NOT VIEWED TO BE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE. God is CONCEIVED TO BE ALL-GOOD. Similarly, THE TWA DISAGREE WITH OTHER AFRICANS who BELIEVE that THERE ARE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE SPIRITS. The Twa say, ‘HE WHO MADE THE LIGHT ALSO MADE THE DARKNESS.’ The Twa have another saying: ‘IF DARKNESS IS, DARKNESS IS GOOD.’”
